Springhill Overlook

These property owners came to BT wanting a home with an equal balance of wood and steel. They were also adamant about having an energy efficient structure.

Working very closely with these empty nesters, BT utilized interesting materials and design elements to complement both owners’ aesthetic desires. BT created a rusted steel superstructure with a timber roof system. The energy efficient, ‘open-stud’ walls were designed by BT and built in the shop, then delivered to the site for quick installation.

In the end, the husband got his wood and the wife got her steel, in a unique rustic and modern feel.
