RECLAIMED WOOD FLOORING FOR SALE

Flooring makes a huge difference in the look and feel of a room. Reclaimed wood flooring for homes and businesses takes that feeling to the next level due to the unique qualities only found in reclaimed wood.

Reclaimed wood floors have more character than new cut timber could ever hope to achieve because there is not any good way to age wood and that aging makes all the difference in your flooring.

SUSTAINABLE WOOD FLOORING

Not only does reclaimed wood flooring look great, but it is also a sustainable resource. The reclaimed wood has already been milled before and may even be used again many years from now. Maximizing the utility of the wood and leaving our planet a little greener along the way.

We source our reclaimed wood from many different areas and always have different materials to choose from. Our experts carefully choose which reclaimed wood we use for flooring and cut it ourselves in our sawmill. All of this leads to a beautifully reclaimed wood floor that is also sustainable and a great choice for tree lovers like us.

RECLAIMED WOOD FLOORING IS STRONGER

Reclaimed wood flooring is a stronger option than traditional new cut timber because it has already contracted and expanded multiple times over the years due to hot and cold temperatures. It is much less likely to split over time, and is sure to stay looking great for years to come.

The history of reclaimed wood flooring also makes it less likely to warp. Usually, wood floors will start to warp over time, especially in regions that see a high-temperature variance. With reclaimed wood, you will not see as much of that so your flooring will be without gaps or an uneven surface for much longer than with a new cut timber wood floor.

RECLAIMED WOOD FLOORING LOOKS BETTER

Often, it is easy to spot the difference between new cut wood flooring and reclaimed wood flooring. Even if they are the same species of tree, the reclaimed wood will have more interesting details, then the mass-produced version of the flooring.

You will see the rings wider apart due to most reclaimed wood being older cuts then-new timber. You will also see more knots in the wood and a lot more texture. All together, that means that reclaimed wood flooring looks and feels better than new cut in many different ways. Reclaimed wood flooring is a beautiful addition to any home and will be admired for years to come.

PRESERVE HISTORY IN YOUR FLOORING

Each piece of reclaimed wood used in flooring was once used for something completely different. It could have been part of an old barn or wine casts, retired ships, or stock farms.

Each piece has its own story to tell, and you will be preserving a little piece of that history in your home. The saying goes if “if trees could talk” and that holds true for reclaimed wood flooring for homes and businesses.
